Understanding why fishing is good isn’t very hard. Fishing is beneficial in many ways. Fishing has health benefits, it can calm your mental state, can help you rejuvenate your social life, it may also grow your patience. Fishing is freedom, freedom from our daily responsibilities and a chance to let our imagination run wild. Fishing concentrates the mind and liberates sit.

Fishing is also a tradition in some countries. I will be mentioning the top 12 points or benefits from fishing.

1. Back to nature

Nature is peaceful and relaxing. It helps to keep your mind and body calm. There are a lot of articles out there which mentions how nature helps patients to heal quickly. Fishing is a great way to spent time with nature, be that summer or winter.

You also get to enjoy different types of nature in different seasons through fishing. In our busy lives, we barely get time to enjoy nature, through fishing you can easily stay with nature and catch fish at the same time.

2. Fishing give stress relief

The constant sound from the water stream, or the sound of dry leaves or even the sound of fishes moving and breathing in the water can release your stress.

Also, when you play with the fishing rod, whether it is bait-casting rod or steelhead fishing rod, it makes your determination better. It is good for relieving stress.

As you will be concentrating on one thing which is fishing, you will be cleaning all the junks or stresses stuck in your mind which will also release the stress.  

3. Entertainment at its best

Fishing is a great source of entertainment. You can be entertained by nature and without any extra cost. There are so many elements in nature. While fishing, if you look around you will see a lot of creatures living their lives.

They all have a difference in their lifestyles. Through observing these you will surely be entertained and will feel fresh.

4. Exercise and vitamin D

Fishing needs some sort of physical strength. Though you are not running or walking a lot you will have to move in such a way to catch fish.

Angling means arm work; hence your shoulder and arm muscles will get stronger through fishing. To find a suitable spot for angling you will have to have a 10-15 minutes’ walk, which can be counted as cardio exercise.

While enjoying nature and doing exercise, you can gulp up Vitamin D naturally, even when the weather is partly cloudy or not very sunny.

Vitamin D helps to create a balance of calcium and minerals in your body, which helps to keep your teeth and bones healthy.

Research says Vitamin D is more important than calcium; Vitamin D is not harmful whereas if you have too much calcium in your body you might end-up having kidney stones. Vitamin D also boosts your immune system and has been linked to fighting depression as well.

5. Reduces blood pressure

High blood pressure can make you weak, you might feel dizzy and it can also lead to heart and brain stroke.

In order to catch fish, you 1st need to calm yourself down, as moving hands can never catch fishes. If you can control yourself your blood pressure will also be much in control.

Through fishing, you get the opportunity to spend time with your family and friends as well. You can go angling with your family, enjoy the time together and after that you can also get the pleasure of having fresh fishes from ponds or lakes.

Why fishing is good in building friendship and social bonding? When we fish, we tend to help each other. Like if someone looses fishing line during trout fishing, other comes with help of extra line. Same goes for lures, baits, etc. It helps to boost the love of relationship.

Also, if you go alone and other anglers are around you, you might end up making new friends and enjoy your time to the fullest. This way you will also be able to be a part of a Angling community.

There are two types of protein good protein and bad protein. Fish is a good protein source. You can always replace high-fat meats with low-fat meats or lean proteins for a healthy diet. Fish is a leaner alternative to fatty meats.

Fish also contains omega-3 which can lower the risk of a heart attack. Also, fresh fishes have a different type of mouthwatering taste which cannot be alternated by any other meat.

After a busy day a busy week you might face a lack of concentration. You might try to figure out the best possible reasons for this problem but overlook one probability which is you might be nature-deprived. The easy fix for this is head for the trees.

It can be one of the best fall camping activities that lets you enjoy your time and help you with concentration and skill.

For fishing, you are bound to sit in the same place for a long time even for hours. You will have to stop your movement and have to have control over your breathing system to in order to catch fish. This helps people to grow patience.

Human existence somehow relies on fishing as well. Also, It involves certain social adaptations and behaviors, which may help to determine or develop some characteristics of a culture.
